A dream was the impetus for this painting. In the dream, my art teacher, Ben Long, told me to paint this pottery cup (which I actually had) rather than a toy still life that I had set up. I think the message of the dream was to be serious about painting and to not play around. But it was really nice to have dream image that I could paint.
The painting is framed in a beautiful, hand-crafted frame by Mark Henry. The framed size is 14.75"x13.25"x2".
